Before you call
It helps to have:
- Your address, so the request reaches an installer who works there
- Which room is getting the window and whether someone will sleep in it
- What the foundation is made of, if you can tell: poured concrete, block, brick or stone
- Whether an inspector, appraiser, landlord license or buyer has flagged the room, and any deadline
- Whether you want the inside trimmed out or left for your own finishing
